Cryptography prepares for the quantum era
NIST finalised its first three post-quantum security standards.
The US National Institute of Standards and Technology released its first three completed post-quantum cryptography standards.
They cover key establishment and digital signatures, providing a foundation for protection against future quantum computing threats.
For organisations, this is a reason to review existing cryptographic systems and plan migration. The publication of standards does not make that transition automatic.
